Job Purpose
The Security Manager for EMEA and APAC plays a key regional role in executing Valvoline Global Operations' (VGO) security programs across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
Job Accountabilities
Regional Security Operations
- Lead execution of VGO's corporate security programs in EMEA and APAC, ensuring alignment with global standards
- Conduct physical security assessments at regional sites and support implementation of mitigation plans
- Serve as a point of contact for local site teams on day-to-day security matters
Incident Response & Investigations
- Support incident management, response coordination, and after-action reviews for security events within the regions
- Partner with HR, Legal, and IT to conduct internal investigations when necessary
- Maintain confidential documentation of incidents and resolutions
Travel Risk & Executive Support
- Monitor regional security threats and assist in travel risk reviews and protocols
- Coordinate with global partners and executive teams to provide security guidance and logistical support during international travel or events
Risk Management & Compliance
- Evaluate regional risks and contribute to security risk registers and mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, local regulations, and best practices in physical security and duty of care
Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Support
- Build strong partnerships with local leadership, regional site teams, and external security vendors
- Collaborate closely with the U.S.-based Security Analyst and global partners to support enterprise-wide initiatives
- Support the implementation of security-related technology and tools across locations in region
What You Bring to the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 6+ years of experience in corporate or regional security operations, ideally across multiple countries
- Demonstrated knowledge of physical security best practices, incident response, and investigations
- Experience working with international partners and adapting approaches across diverse regulatory and cultural contexts
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and navigate a matrixed, global organization
- Fluent in English; additional languages preferred
- Willingness to travel across the EMEA and APAC regions as needed

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements / Travel Requirements
- Based in London with hybrid work flexibility
- Regional travel required (approximately 20–30%)

- Must be able to conduct physical site visits and assessments as needed
- Standard office environment with typical computer-based work
