Japanese/English Gaming Event Interpreter (On-Site, Tokyo)

We are seeking a freelance interpreter with proven experience in the Gaming industry for English/Japanese to support us in a local video gaming event in Tokyo, Japan from May 18-21, 2026.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality interpretation services during the event
• Collaborating with our team to ensure a smooth and successful event
• Utilizing strong communication skills to effectively convey information to attendees

Requirements:

• Native fluency in English and/or Japanese
• Physically based in Japan (preferably around the Tokyo area, or willing to travel by train)
• Fully available from May 18-21, 2026
• Professional track record in interpreting, particularly in the gaming industry
• Strong familiarity in video games
