Description
As a Corporate Development Associate at Anduril Industries, you will play a key role in leading mergers and acquisitions activities for the company's defence products. You will perform market research, evaluate potential targets, research previous M&A transactions and comparable public companies, value target businesses, and assist in deal execution.
Your responsibilities will include performing analyses critical to developing a thesis on a market or specific company, carefully scoping research projects for the internal market research team, evaluating externally-produced research tools and reports, developing expert network screening questions and interview guides, navigating the federal budget and the J-books, and diving deeply into procurement data to understand market dynamics.
You will also be responsible for producing thoughtful, well-researched and well-formatted slides for an executive audience, assembling a valuation model with the ability to change scenarios based on the unique attributes of a particular business, taking meeting notes, summarising findings and action items, and drafting memos for internal and external executives.
In addition, you will learn Anduril's business top-to-bottom, regularly interacting with colleagues in hardware and software engineering, supply chain and manufacturing, finance, business development, government relations, etc., and manage confidential projects with very sensitive information.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual with a strong analytical aptitude, who is comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on their work. You should have 2+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity/venture capital, and be a U.S. Person with the ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret-level Security Clearance.
