Description
We are looking for a Paralegal Senior to join our team in Torrance, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload, including working with the assigned in-house attorney and Honda's outside counsel. This role will be dedicated primarily to warranty litigation in California.
Key responsibilities include: Reviewing case evaluation reports and subsequent status reports and strategizing next steps to further case along or resolve. Performing initial review of and revising draft answers, motions and supporting documents, statutory settlement offers and other court documents. Managing daily warranty documentation, including correspondence, emails, CRRS reports, and legal documents. Negotiating settlements in conjunction with outside counsel. Providing authority as needed. Coordinating documentation required for settlements, including agreements and payoff information.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of Paralegal experience in a Corporate Law department or large firm handling litigation matters. Experience with California Lemon Law cases (Song Beverly Act) is also required.
