Description
This is a unique opportunity to join a lean legal team at Astranis, a leading satellite communications company. As a Government Contracts Manager, you will support Astranis's compliance activities, manage USG contract administration, and execute policy and regulatory strategies in support of Astranis business priorities.
The ideal candidate has both business and legal training, as well as customer-facing experience with the civil space community, including NASA and the Department of Defense. You will work closely with Astranis senior management, program management, engineering, operations, and legal team.
Role:
- Support Astranis's compliance activities, including collaboration with Astranis internal teams and external consultants, and ownership of relevant document production and execution
- Manage USG contract administration, including closely coordinating with Astranis Legal to ensure company compliance with relevant FAR clauses, representations and certificates, and proposal submittal requirements
- Support Astranis's monitoring of and engagement with administrative proceedings across a range of USG and other national government agencies
- Execute policy and regulatory strategies in support of Astranis business priorities
Requirements:
- B.S./B.A., J.D. is a plus but not required
- Working knowledge of civil space organizations and programs
- Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and USG contract structures
- Working knowledge of government regulatory structures for commercial space industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Bonus:
