Description
The Cleaner is responsible for ensuring all public conveniences within the Stratford District and Town are opened and closed on time, maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, and cleaned in line with the contract specification.
This role involves carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules, replenishing consumables, responding to one-off emergency cleans, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment for members of the public.
Key responsibilities include opening and closing public toilet facilities on time, completing scheduled daily, weekly, monthly, and four-weekly deep cleans, and responding to one-off cleaning requirements caused by flood damage, fire damage, or vandalism.
The ideal candidate will be willing to undergo and successfully pass an enhanced DBS check, be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while maintaining high cleaning standards.
