Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Advocacy team based in Hong Kong.
You will manage or supervise complex negotiations with insurers to ensure best possible claim outcomes for our clients. You will lead the claims insertion element of tender and RFP responses for major clients and prospects, and direct and partner with regional and country leadership to innovate, identify and execute on new revenue models for claims advocacy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing or supervising complex negotiations with insurers
- Leading claims insertion for major clients and prospects
- Directing and partnering with regional and country leadership to innovate and execute new revenue models
- Providing oversight for implementing optimal role-cost-location alignment
- Designing and evaluating claims operations processes and strategies
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with regional and country advocacy teams
- Providing strategic guidance regarding regulatory and market imperatives for Hong Kong and Macao
- Leading efforts to improve claims processing efficiency across the region
- Challenging existing practices and developing innovative solutions
- Evaluating escalated claims process issues and providing resolution
- Designing, evaluating and approving operational controls
Requirements:
- University or college graduate with a business, insurance, legal or other relevant degree
- Qualification in ANZIIF or ACII preferred
- Solid insurance brokerage, account management, servicing and sales skills
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in insurance across multiple product lines
- Experience working with large corporate accounts
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and forge strong relationships with major market partners
- Language fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese)
- Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ambitious, solution-focused and with strong skills in claims advisory management
