Fall Protection Sales Specialist - Chile and Argentina

Join 3M's innovative team as a Fall Protection Sales Specialist, covering Chile and Argentina.

As a specialist in Fall Protection, you will play a key role in specifying fall protection solutions, particularly for lifelines and anchoring systems for height work, as well as solutions for access, rescue, and confined space work.

Based in 3M's Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Division, you will develop the Chilean and Argentine markets and provide full support to Generalist Sales Representatives in searching for solutions, specifications, and opportunities for this product portfolio.

Your impact in this role:

• Lead the specification of fall protection solutions in various prioritised markets such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Pulp, Telecommunications, etc.
• Implement the division's development and growth strategy for the Chilean and Argentine markets.
• Identify and analyse the division's customer portfolio with the sales team, as well as the potential of opportunities for the division in the market under your responsibility.
• Implement a routine of visits to prioritised customers, supporting their development through the Salesforce tool (customer portfolio management, opportunities, time, etc.).
• Work on specifying 3M products for customers, either directly or in alliance with our sales channels, to generate and capture new opportunities.

The skills and experience we are looking for:

• Higher education in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or Civil). Profiles in Occupational Safety, Business Management, and Marketing are also accepted.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the industrial market (Fall Protection and Personal Safety).
• Desirable: intermediate level of English, knowledge of Sales Force or CRMs, and knowledge of the portfolio and local regulations.
• Availability for travel and field work in both countries.

Work localisation:

• This role follows a face-to-face work model, requiring the employee to work at least 2 days a week in 3M Chile's office (Providencia).

Travel:

• May include up to 70% national/international travel.
