Description
The Senior Revenue Accountant's primary responsibility is to ensure the Company's revenue recognition is in compliance with US GAAP and Company policies. This role involves both advisory and operational tasks, including partnering with other teams to interpret and process deal reviews, completing contract accounting of executed customer contracts, and preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of revenue accounting rules under ASC 606 and experience working with revenue-related systems such as billing systems, ERP, and revenue recognition tools/subledgers. They will also be able to work effectively with various departments, particularly Sales, and manage multiple priorities.
In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will be able to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and provide timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions.
