Global Supply and Strategy Director (GSSD)

We are seeking a Global Supply and Strategy Director (GSSD) to join our team. As a GSSD, you will be responsible for establishing and optimising supply chain design and performance for a portfolio of products within our key Therapy Areas. You will provide product/brand leadership to other senior managers within the Operations and represent Operations and product supply on AstraZeneca's Global Product Teams and in other senior product stakeholder forums.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Applying your knowledge and expertise to build, establish and optimise product supply chains throughout the lifecycle for a portfolio of products within a Therapy Area.
• Providing product/brand leadership to other senior managers within the Operations and representing Operations and product supply on AstraZeneca's Global Product Teams and in other senior product stakeholder forums.
• Optimising performance of current supply chains including using lean methodologies to improve supply chain lead time.
• Having accountability for improving your product Cost Of Goods throughout the lifecycle.
• Working across the Global Supply group to deliver end-to-end Supply Chain operational performance KPIs and support initiatives to optimise inventory.
• Owning and managing the product business continuity plans for your brands and ensuring a constant state of readiness to ensure product supply.
• Leading and advising a matrixed team to complete the brand strategy and seamless key supply chain changes.
• Delivering successful, seamless, timely new product launches to parameters agreed with our Oncology and Biopharma Business Units.
• Directing, managing and representing multi-region supply issue resolution to successful conclusion, including demand allocation.

You will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business results and make strategic decisions to drive business growth.
