At Honda, we're looking for a Supplier Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in advancing our ability to improve supply chain stability with a single and efficient regional mindset. Your mission will be to maintain strong delivery characteristics with a regional viewpoint in order to support smooth production operations across North American manufacturing facilities, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting situation appraisal and analysis of a supplier crisis on a specific part or assembly process
- Implementing immediate corrective action plans at critical suppliers
- Communicating with suppliers and summarizing reviews
- Assisting in reporting for root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation
- Contributing to continuous improvement through cycling Plan Do Check Action (PDCA) for area of responsibility
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong sense of urgency and flexibility to respond to critical issues and unplanned risk events. You will also need to be able to travel at moments' notice to confirm supplier situations at the spot (50% time).
