Job Title: Account Executive (Existing Business), Commercial
We're looking for a skilled Account Executive to join our team in San Francisco. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for building relationships with our small business customers, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer retention.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Building relationships with Intercom's small business customers to ensure revenue growth and customer retention
- Working with current customers to understand their business pains and providing solutions based on our platform to alleviate them
- Developing strategic territory plans outlining opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, expansion to new business units, and achieving business goals
- Developing advanced knowledge of your customers' businesses and goals while accurately forecasting sales pipeline
- Collaborating with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success by providing customer feedback to drive product innovation
- Tracking and reporting all key metrics related to customer growth, retention, and Intercom product usage growth
What You Need:
- 2+ years managing a large book of business; 120 accounts (retention, renewals, & account growth)
- 1+ years selling SaaS products
- Experience managing procurement processes
- Strong sales instincts and track record hitting and exceeding quota
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable and energized operating and problem-solving in a fast-moving organization

OTE Range: $147,670 - $190,650
