Description
The SCS Concerns Program is seeking a dedicated and skilled investigator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into ethical concerns and allegations of misconduct/violations of company policy within the workplace.
As a Concerns Coordinator, you will lead investigations into allegations of unethical behaviour, policy violations, and misconduct, ensuring a fair, objective, and consistent approach in line with company policy and applicable laws.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting interviews with complainants, witnesses, and accused individuals, maintaining impartiality and professionalism throughout the investigative process.
- Gathering and analysing facts, including documents, electronic data, and other pertinent information, to support findings.
- Preparing detailed investigation reports, summarising factual findings and outlining whether any company policies were violated.
- Delivering training programs aimed at promoting awareness and understanding of the Concerns Program.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records of all investigations and outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree (advanced degree or professional certification preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in workplace investigations, ethics and compliance, or a related HR function.
- Exceptional interviewing and analytical skills, with the ability to remain neutral and objective.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare comprehensive reports and present findings clearly.
- High level of discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation.
This role typically operates in an office environment but may require travel to various company locations for investigations.
