Description

Join the Sales team at Spotify and build relationships that help grow our business in existing markets and beyond. As a Client Partner, you will drive revenue growth and build long-term relationships with key advertising clients and agencies.

Your primary focus will be on owning and being accountable for quarterly and yearly revenue goals, pipeline management, and growth goals for a vertical within our Sydney sales team. You will develop and maintain excellent relationships with key media agencies, allowing us to better understand their businesses and position Spotify as an invaluable partner in overcoming their strategic challenges.

You will work across multiple agency departments to deliver successful campaigns, understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and opportunities to build strategic advertising responses that align with client goals and objectives. You will focus on consultative brand selling, creating bespoke responses to briefs while educating and inspiring our clients to use Spotify to deliver on business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Selling audio, video, display advertising, and other integrated digital ad solutions
  • Delivering best-in-class sales and operational customer service
  • Maintaining a high volume of in-person client engagement with brands and agencies
  • Representing Spotify at events and serving as a brand ambassador

Requirements include:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in advertising sales, business development, or client-facing roles within the digital media industry
  • A deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, especially programmatic, audio, display, and video advertising
  • Proven track record in the Australian market of successfully managing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with programmatic advertising platforms (DSPs & SSPs)
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to present effectively and close the deal
  • Proficiency in creating reports and presentations using Google Slides/Sheets and Salesforce

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role based in Melbourne, with flexibility to work from home and come into the office three times a week.
