Description
Opening. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing electrical, electrochemical, and thermal models of battery cells to ensure the performance, lifespan, and safety of Porsche's battery-powered vehicles.
What you'll do
- Investigate the electrical and electrochemical-thermal behavior of Li-ion battery cells
- Develop and apply battery cell models (electrical equivalent circuit models and electrochemical-thermal models)
- Parameterize, analyze, and validate simulation results
What you need
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Chemistry, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, electrochemistry, and thermodynamics
- Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Matlab
- Familiarity with CAE tools such as COMSOL Multiphysics
