Description
We are seeking a Tax & Controller Management professional to join our team in Argentina. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of all tax obligations for Ford Logistics in Argentina.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the complete compliance of all tax obligations for Ford Logistics in Argentina.
- Manage national, provincial, and municipal taxes, avoiding fiscal risks, fines, or legal contingencies.
- Operate control of the operation in terms of profit, operational costs, and revenue analysis.
- Identify gaps and trends in the operation under your charge.
- Act as an internal reference on tax matters, providing advice to various areas of the business.
- Interact with AFIP and other tax authorities.
- Investigate, analyze, and manage the application of incentives, reimbursements, and tax benefits available for Argentina.
- Design and implement legal strategies for tax optimization.
- Ensure the correct tax configuration in systems (SAP FI/CO).
- Provide support in the implementation and improvement of financial processes and systems.
Qualifications:
- Public Accountant graduates with experience in taxes.
- At least 3 years of experience in tax areas (ideally in logistics services, freight forwarders, shipping companies, or trading).
- Deep knowledge of the Argentine tax framework.
- Experience working with SAP FI/CO.
- Advanced Excel management, desirable experience in Power Automate.
- Experience with Power BI (exclusive).
- Advanced English.
- Desirable experience with Cargowise.
