Funeral Arranger

As a Funeral Arranger, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and the community. You will support clients both in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering client questions.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community
• Support clients both in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering client questions
• Ensure the funeral home is clean, safe, and welcoming, maintaining a professional and comforting environment for clients
• Work with digital systems and devices to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements, and invoicing
• Support with manual handling of coffins and assist in the care and preparation of the deceased
• Update client management applications with accurate and timely information

Requirements:

• Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with clients and colleagues
• Ability to confidently work with numbers and perform basic calculations
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring regulatory policies and processes are adhered to
• Good IT skills, with the ability to use a range of technology devices and systems
• Passion for delivering great service and building relationships
• High levels of empathy, discretion, and care
• Ability to carry out the physical elements of the role, such as moving coffins
