Funeral Arranger

Join our friendly team at Co-op Funeralcare in Halesworth, Suffolk, and help families say the perfect goodbye to loved ones. As a Funeral Arranger, you will play a crucial role in providing support to clients and arranging funerals with dignity and respect.

Job Details:

• £13.47 per hour
• Part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions
• Ensure the funeral home is clean, safe, and welcoming
• Work with digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements, and invoicing
• Support with manual handling of coffins and assist in the care and preparation of the deceased
• Update client management applications with accurate and timely information

Requirements:

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with numbers and basic calculations
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Good IT skills and ability to learn new applications
• Passion for delivering great service and building relationships
• High levels of empathy, discretion, and care
• Ability to carry out physical elements of the role
