Operations Manager - London Brent Cross

As an Operations Manager at NEXT's Brent Cross location, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing all stock and operational processes for the stockroom/warehouse, security, and offices. You will lead and inspire your team to maximise sales, drive efficiencies, and achieve performance targets.

The role involves:

• Supporting the Store Manager in providing leadership and inspiring your team
• Creating an atmosphere focused on delivering amazing service, achieving performance targets, and accurate stock processes
• Being accountable for the store meeting all legal and compliance requirements
• Leading disciplinary/grievance procedures where necessary
• Managing manhour control expectations
• Demonstrating a hands-on approach for all operational and commercial activities
• Showing resilience during periods of change and embracing feedback
• Ensuring security staff are utilised effectively and that all Company security procedures are adhered to
• Addressing training, development, and recruitment needs to a high standard

You will need:

• Exceptional commercial and operational understanding
• Experience in leading and coaching a high-performing team
• Great communication skills and ability to work at all levels
• Confidence in problem-solving and making sound business decisions
• Flexibility in working hours and willingness to work additional hours
