Description
We are seeking a Funding Officer to play a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of our charitable funding. You will process applications, support existing grants, respond to enquiries, and help keep our funding processes running smoothly.
As a Funding Officer, you’ll work collaboratively as part of a team, provide administrative support, advise organisations receiving or seeking funding, and help monitor our grants portfolio.
You’ll handle a wide range of enquiries from grantees and other stakeholders, using your knowledge, judgement, and relationship management skills to provide clear and helpful responses. You’ll also support colleagues, take responsibility for your own learning, and look for ways to continually improve our service.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing administrative support in a charitable or similar organisation, advising stakeholders, working collaboratively in a small team, and managing data. You’ll have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent IT literacy, and the ability to manage competing deadlines without compromising quality. A good understanding of funding in the voluntary and community sectors is also essential.
In return, we offer a salary of £39,410 - £43,620 per year, inclusive of London Weighting, and a contractual 35 hours per week. The role is full-time and fixed-term until 31/01/2028, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring a minimum of 3 days a week onsite.
We are a values-based organisation and welcome applications from all sectors and communities. Equity, diversity, and inclusion are as important in our staff and governance as they are in our work. We support flexible working and job-shares, and we are a Disability Confident employer.
