WSP Middle East is seeking a Senior Architect (Technical) to join their Property & Buildings (P&B) Business Unit in the UAE.
This role involves leading technical design, multidisciplinary coordination, construction documentation, and design compliance for complex developments across the Middle East.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading technical development and delivery of architectural projects
- Preparing, reviewing, and coordinating design packages, drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations, international codes, and project requirements
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including Structural, MEP, Landscape, Interior Design, and Specialist Consultants
- Supporting BIM implementation and technical design coordination
- Reviewing shop drawings, material submissions, RFIs, and construction-stage technical queries
- Driving technical excellence, quality assurance, and design consistency
- Mentoring junior architects and technical team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
- 8+ years of professional architectural experience with a focus on technical design and project delivery
- Experience within a leading architecture, engineering, or multidisciplinary consultancy
- Strong working knowledge of Revit, BIM workflows, AutoCAD, and construction documentation
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Previous Middle East project experience is highly desirable
