Description
WSP is seeking an Associate Consultant, Architect for their New York City office, focusing on transportation projects. The ideal candidate will work on various projects, including rail and bus stations, airports, and transportation hubs, under the supervision of a senior architect.
The Transportation Facilities Group (TFG) leads design projects supporting local and regional growth initiatives through small and large transportation projects. The position offers varied projects in the transportation field within the NY Metro Region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing architectural drawings and specifications
- Ensuring code compliance for new construction and renovations
- Conducting site inspections
- Attending meetings
- Coordinating projects
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor of Architecture or related degree
- 1-3 years of relevant post-education experience
- Understanding of building codes, including NY State and NYC Building Codes
- Knowledge of construction drawing standards
- Proficiency in architectural tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp, Microstation, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and writing skills

The expected salary range is $84,500 - $116,200.
