Beauty Sales Consultant

We are seeking a talented Beauty Sales Consultant to join our team at CVS Health, America's leading retail pharmacy. As a Beauty Sales Consultant, you will provide exceptional customer service, share your extensive knowledge of beauty trends and techniques, and help build a personalized basket for each customer.

Customer Sales Experience

• Provide personalized sales service to customers, ensuring a fantastic beauty advisor experience
• Engage in conversations with customers, listen to their needs, and offer specialized sales advice
• Use verbal skills to generate sales and stimulate a different thought process
• Be a brand expert, answering customer questions in detail with product knowledge to produce the largest sales basket possible

Operational

• Educate customers on the proper usage and benefits of various products, leveraging the CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships
• Participate in and represent company sales programs or events that positively impact business
• Create and maintain product displays, end caps, and other beauty-specific promotional materials
• Maintain a beautiful and clean zone, keeping your assigned area well-stocked, well-merchandised, and compliant with hygiene standards

Training & Personal Growth and Development

• Complete initial 30/60/90-day onboarding training with ongoing training/educational programs
• Execute the established sales plan by meeting the sales budget and tracking your progress to success
• Participate in sales training meetings and conference calls concerning programs and promotions

Physical Requirements

• Physical abilities to support the essential functions of the role, such as standing and moving throughout the store
• Ability to stoop, kneel or crouch, and reach or grasp objects

Required Qualifications

• Sales-oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Goal-driven, with an ability to multi-task and work independently and as an integral part of a team
• Available to work a flexible retail schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours, and "Peak" Hours
• Ability to perform ear-piercing services (training and certification provided)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (in specific CVS stores)
• Must be at least 18 years old

• Current knowledge of beauty products and brands
• Strong passion for beauty
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
