As a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Intern, you will support the documentation and daily coordination of workplace safety and health activities.
Responsibilities Your responsibilities fall into three main areas: Compliance & Audits, Proactive Safety, and Programme Management.
- Support routine workplace safety inspections, record findings, and track follow-up actions for fire, first-aid, and other safety equipment.
- Help update risk assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and emergency response plans with guidance from the OHS team.
- Coordinate emergency drills and support the documentation and follow-up of incident and near-miss investigations.
- Plan and coordinate health and wellbeing activities, such as health talks and ergonomic workshops.
- Maintain OHS records and trackers, compile monthly data, and prepare reports on incidents and compliance.
Requirements
- Pursuing a diploma or undergraduate degree in Workplace Safety and Health, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Health, Engineering, Facilities Management, Built Environment, or Public Health.
- Knowledge of workplace hazards, risk assessment, and safe work practices.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and trackers, prepare meeting notes and reports, and use Excel or similar tools to organise data.
- Experience engaging with AI tools and latest technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows, and contribute new ideas.
