Portuguese (Brasil) Multimedia Content Reviewer

We are looking for a Portuguese (Brasil) Multimedia Content Reviewer to join our Production team remotely. As a Multimedia Content Reviewer, you will write and review linguistic content in your native language to ensure accuracy for customers using multimedia platforms. You will become a cultural ambassador for your language market, producing localized content and identifying potential cultural issues.

Main Duties:

• Localize, translate, and adapt content while adhering to style guides and guidelines.
• Write new copy for multimedia products such as music, TV, and app store apps.
• Perform linguistic reviews of your own work and others' work.
• Copy-edit and fact-check content to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct LQA testing of published content.
• Research local content trends and best practices.
• Transcribe spoken content such as lyrics.
• Report on data and assets across various media types.
• Create training materials and documents for new projects.
• Collaborate with the global language team via virtual meetings and emails.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in journalism, copywriting, or copyediting media content.
• Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content.
• Ability to detect issues and make sound judgment calls.
• Knowledge of music, TV, cinema, gaming, and pop culture.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
• Strong computer literacy, knowledge of iOS/macOS systems a plus.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
