Description
We're looking for a Multimedia Content Reviewer to write and review linguistic content in a native language to ensure accuracy for customers using leading multimedia platforms.
The ideal candidate has a background in journalism or similar, with proven creative writing skills and attention to detail. They should be passionate about music, film, and tech, and have experience with iOS and Mac OS devices.
Main Duties:
- Localize, translate, and adapt content for various categories, adhering to style guides and guidelines
- Write new copy for multimedia products, such as music, TV, and app store apps
- Perform linguistic reviews of own work and others' work
- Copy-edit and fact-check content for accuracy
- Conduct LQA testing of published content
- Research local content trends and best practices
- Transcribe spoken content, such as lyrics
- Report on data and assets across media and content types
- Create training materials and documents for new projects
- Collaborate with the global language team
Requirements:
- BS/BA and 2+ years of experience in journalism, copywriting, or copyediting media content
- Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content
- Ability to detect issues and make sound judgment calls
- Knowledge of music, TV, cinema, gaming, and pop culture
- Ability to own a language market and make confident linguistic decisions
- Highly detail-oriented with multitasking and deadline-meeting skills
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Strong computer literacy, with knowledge of iOS/macOS systems a plus
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Collaborative mindset for teamwork in a multicultural environment
