Description
We are seeking a Multimedia Content Reviewer to write and review linguistic content in a language in which they have native-level proficiency. The goal is to ensure the highest quality of accuracy for customers using leading multimedia platforms.
The ideal candidate has a background in journalism or a similar field, proven creative writing skills, and attention to detail. They should be passionate about music, film, and technology, and have experience with iOS and Mac OS devices.
Main Duties:
- Localize, translate, and adapt content for various categories, including music, film, gaming, and sports
- Write new copy for multimedia products and services
- Perform annotation tasks and linguistic reviews of content
- Copy-edit and fact-check content for accuracy
- Conduct market-specific research on local content trends and best localization practices
- Transcribe spoken content, such as lyrics
- Report on data and assets across various media and content types
- Collaborate with the global language team on content review tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in journalism, copywriting, or copyediting
- Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content
- Creative writing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Strong computer literacy, with knowledge of iOS and macOS systems a plus
