Description
Welocalize is seeking individuals with a passion for popular music and artists who drive the craft. In this role, you will work on-site at leading consumer technology companies, contributing to finished products released in target markets globally. Your responsibilities include transcribing lyrical content in your target language, evaluating the quality of internal and external partner content, and ensuring the quality and standards of finished products before they reach users.
Responsibilities:
- Experience working within tech, product, digital media, and entertainment
- Self-motivated and able to handle repetitive tasks
- Familiarity with XML and web-based content management systems preferred
- Ability to thrive on change as products evolve
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to quickly detect issues and inconsistencies from a massive amount of content and make sound judgment calls
- Proven ability to maintain solid focus through many hours of performing repetitive tasks
- Sharp problem-solving and analytical skills, along with the ability to learn from history and actively help prevent errors from recurring
- A wide range of knowledge or passion for music, musicians, and genres of music preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analyze content problems with the ability to quickly assess complex situations
- Work collaboratively with members of the team

Additional Job Details:
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
- Relevant work experience preferred
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
