Description
We are seeking an Account Executive to join our APJ Field Sales team based in Tokyo, reporting directly to the Regional Director. As an Account Executive, you will work closely with global professionals to deliver value to customers and drive a secure, cloud-based digital future.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including customer executives.
- Develop long-term account strategies based on customer goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to reflect customer needs in account planning.
- Understand customer businesses, set specific goals, propose Zscaler solutions, and act as a trusted partner.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of full-cycle sales experience in software or security industry.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strategic sales experience, including engagement with corporate customers and selling to executive levels.
- Business-level Japanese language skills (reading, writing, conversation).
- Basic understanding of AI/ML technology and experience utilizing AI-powered solutions.
Nice to Have:
- Established network with existing or prospective customers.
- Deep understanding of customer objectives and challenges, as well as technology-driven digital transformation.
- Knowledge of strategic sales planning and track record of acquiring new customers.
- Experience with AI-powered sales intelligence, predictive analytics, or conversational AI platforms.
