Join our friendly team at Co-op Funeralcare in Rugby as a Funeral Arranger and help families say the perfect goodbye to loved ones.

You'll earn £13.47 per hour, working part-time, 18.75 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, 1 pm to 5 pm.

In this role, you'll:

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community
Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions
Ensure the funeral home is clean, safe, and welcoming, both inside and out
Work with digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements, and invoicing
Support with manual handling of coffins and assist in the care and preparation of the deceased
Update client management applications with accurate and timely information

To succeed, you'll need:

Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with clients and colleagues
Basic maths skills for tasks like cash handling and invoicing
Attention to detail and accuracy in regulatory policies and processes
Good IT skills, with the ability to use various technology devices and systems
Empathy, discretion, and care when working with clients and families
Physical ability to carry out tasks like moving coffins
