Job Details:
- £25,818 (£13.24 per hour)
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, with on-call rota for weekends and evenings
- Location: Denbeath, KY8 3PQ
Responsibilities:
- Collect the deceased from various locations and scenarios in a professional and empathetic manner
- Bear coffins on the day of the funeral and drive funeral vehicles
- Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and facilities, including vehicles
- Prepare coffins and engrave name plates
- Prepare the deceased for viewings and funerals
- Maintain client management applications daily, inputting detailed and timely information
- Safely lift, carry, and move coffins following safe techniques and health and safety guidance
Requirements:
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Ability to perform physical aspects of the role, with appropriate training and equipment provided
- Good IT skills and confidence to use various technology devices
- Ability to react calmly and compassionately in emotional circumstances
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring adherence to regulatory policies and processes
