Description
Salesforce is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Architect to join their team in Mexico City. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and delivering end-to-end migrations from legacy marketing platforms to Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for migrations to Marketing Cloud Next and Salesforce Data Cloud (unified profiles, identity resolution, audience activation).
- Design the subscriber and consent migration strategy (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL), data extensions, and suppression lists.
- Build the journey migration blueprint and data lineage documentation.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, execute cutover, and validate deliverability (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).
- Contribute to Migration Factory playbooks and accelerators.
Must-Have Requirements
- Marketing Cloud Next (Email, Journey, Automation, Content, Mobile, Advertising Studio).
- Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Subscriber data architecture.
- Compliance and consent management.
- Email deliverability.
- Data migration methodology.
- Integration (Marketing Cloud Connect, REST/SOAP APIs).
- AMPscript / SSJS.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience migrating from Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, or SFMC Classic.
- ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory).
- Interaction Studio.
- Additional channels: WhatsApp, LINE, Push, SMS.
- Snowflake / Databricks.
- Loyalty / Commerce Cloud.
Required Experience
- 10+ years in martech/Salesforce; 5+ years in Marketing Cloud with at least 2 completed end-to-end migrations; 3+ years in client-facing advisory/architecture roles; experience migrating 10M+ record databases without consent loss.
Certifications
- Required: Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Data Cloud Consultant.
- Preferred: Marketing Cloud Developer, Application Architect.
