Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud & AI System Engineer to join our high-performance IT Infrastructure team at Audi Motorsport Technology Centre, Bicester, UK.

The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining secure hybrid infrastructure services across Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, IAM/IDP, cloud-native platforms, data centre systems, and local on-premise environments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain secure hybrid infrastructure services
  • Implement automation and infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, scripting, and CI/CD practices
  • Operate and improve Kubernetes, container platforms, integration services, monitoring, logging, secrets management, and related platform components
  • Support the introduction and operation of approved AI platforms and AI-enabled IT services
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, optimise resource usage, and contribute to operational support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  • Extensive experience in hybrid cloud infrastructure, on-premise system engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or related IT operations roles
  • Practical experience with Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 services
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code, automation, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, networking, virtualisation, storage, backup, Windows Server, and Linux system administration
  • Experience with Kubernetes, container platforms, secrets management, Kafka, or ELK/Elastic-based monitoring and logging platforms
  • Understanding of cybersecurity, access management, data protection, and compliance requirements for cloud and AI-enabled services
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in motorsport, high-performance engineering, automotive, manufacturing, or other fast-paced technical environments
