We are seeking a Director of Chinese Restaurant Operation / Chinese Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, improving guest and employee satisfaction, and maximizing financial performance.
Job Summary The Director of Chinese Restaurant Operation / Chinese Restaurant Manager will manage all restaurant and kitchen operations and staff on a daily basis. This includes Restaurants/Bars, Room Service, and Kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage, culinary, or event management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations, including estimating food and beverage consumption, maintaining service and sanitation standards, and ordering equipment and supplies.
- Develop and maintain food and beverage goals, create business plans, and integrate objectives to achieve business goals.
- Manage budgets, identify financial opportunities, and make sound financial decisions.
- Lead and develop a high-performing food and beverage team, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching.
- Ensure exceptional customer service, respond to guest complaints, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage human resource activities, including performance appraisals, training, and employee development.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 6 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related field.
- 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 4 years of experience.
