Description
We are seeking a part-time People Advisor to work closely with our People Business Partners and wider People Team to support our UK Equity shops. You will provide practical, commercially minded People advice to help our managers and teams succeed.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide HR advice to General Managers and Operations Managers on employee relations, performance, attendance, conduct, capability, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Support employee relations cases, investigations and formal processes.
- Identify people risks early and support managers to resolve issues.
- Provide guidance on employment legislation, HR policies, procedures and best practice.
- Support consistent application of HR policies and processes across the Equity Shop estate.
- Coach managers to build confidence and accountability in managing people.
- Deliver HR training, policy briefings and guidance as required.
- Support the delivery of HR policies, processes and key People initiatives.
- Identify practical improvements to simplify, streamline and improve HR processes and employee experience.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations and people data.
- Use people data and ER trends to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Help create a fair, inclusive and respectful workplace aligned to Pret’s values.
This is a part-time role, working 3 days per week, perfect for someone looking to balance their career with family life, other commitments or personal passions.
