Description
As a Mortgage Specialist assistant, you will support a top-producing Mortgage Specialist in meeting sales objectives and related activities by providing value-added administrative service and support.
You will provide primarily responsive client contact management and develop relationships with service partners to ensure operational guidelines are adhered to and transactions are processed efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide superior responsive service to client fax/email/telephone requests
- Execute and deliver client transactions/requests
- Utilize knowledge of mortgage processes and key referral sources to facilitate solutions and problem resolutions
- Stay up-to-date with current events, market news, and internal information
- Manage Mortgage Specialist's email/mail, prioritizing correspondence/requests
- Ensure effective time management of Mortgage Specialist's diary
- Manage office routines, expenses, and files/records
- Proactively identify Mortgage Specialist's needs and provide required information/documents
- Support completion/validation of Homebase files and due diligence requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated excellence in a service and sales support role
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral/written)
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with emerging communications and technology (web-based meetings, social media, digital banking, mobile applications)
Nice-to-have:
- Resourcefulness and ability to work independently
- Sales-oriented, self-motivated, and self-managed
- Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency
- Knowledge of Royal Bank systems (Sales & Service Platform, RBCNet)
- Strong knowledge of credit and mortgage process and Home Financing products
