ViiV Healthcare is seeking a Marketing Director, Long-Acting HIV Treatment – U.S. Launch Lead to lead the launch of their next-generation long-acting HIV treatment in the U.S. market.
The successful candidate will define and lead the end-to-end U.S. commercialization strategy and launch, serving as the U.S. launch lead and shaping long-term brand strategy in partnership with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and leading the U.S. commercialization strategy and launch of ViiV's next-generation long-acting HIV treatment
- Serving as the U.S. launch lead and shaping long-term brand strategy
- Leading U.S. launch strategy development in partnership with Global teams
- Driving cross-functional launch readiness across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Communications, Insights & Analytics, and Implementation teams
- Partnering closely with Field Commercial and Sales Operations to incorporate field insights into launch strategy
- Leading financial planning and investment optimization
- Developing external engagement strategies that integrate insights from people living with HIV, patient advocates, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of commercial marketing experience within pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Commercial experience leading launch phase or growth phase for pharmaceutical brands
- Proven experience working cross-functionally with Medical, Regulatory, and Market Access teams
- Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to inform strategic marketing decisions
Preferred qualifications include:
- An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification)
- Expertise in the U.S. pharmaceutical commercial environment
- Experience with implementation models
- Sales experience
- Broad commercial experience
- Experience in HIV treatment and/or long-acting therapies in the U.S. market
- Demonstrated use of AI / advanced analytics to drive commercial decisions
