Description
As a Cloud Engineer at GDIT, you will design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems. You will work with Agile Scrum-based development teams and interact with clients to provide cloud support and make recommendations based on customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
- Experience in scripting using software languages such as Java and Python
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements and cost efficiencies
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with customer best practices and guidance
- Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum-based development team
- Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on customer needs
- Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.), Docker, Ansible
- Demonstrated experience utilizing DevOps tools, such as GitHub and Jenkins, to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Strong understanding of web services, API, REST
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 3+ years of related experience
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or higher
- Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance
- US Citizenship Required
