Description
We are seeking a Lead Business Partner to join our Store Operations & Enablement team. As a Lead Business Partner, you will lead the Store Operations strategy for Back to College, connecting enterprise priorities with store and guest needs and driving the work from early strategy through seasonal execution and recap.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Store Operations strategy for Back to College
- Represent the store perspective in cross-functional business decisions
- Translate complex business strategies into simple, executable store experiences
- Use business performance, store feedback and field insights to identify opportunities and influence decisions
- Lead cross-functional planning routines and establish clear milestones, dependencies, decisions and accountability
- Build strong relationships across HQ and the field
- Maintain a strong connection to stores and field leaders
- Anticipate execution risks and unintended consequences
- Synthesize complex inputs and clearly communicate recommendations
- Lead post-season learning and translate insights into recommendations
- Identify and champion new tools, technology, automation and ways of working
Requirements:
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of relevant experience in retail, operations, merchandising, strategy, planning or related disciplines
- Strong understanding of store operations
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
- Strong project and process management skills
- Highly effective collaborator
- Confident communicator
- Comfortable challenging existing strategies
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience:
- Previous store or field experience
- Experience working across Store Operations, Merchandising, Inventory Management, Space & Presentation or Supply Chain
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience leveraging AI, automation or emerging technology
