Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Fashion, Home & Beauty section, where you'll become a champion of our high-quality products, great value offers, and excellent customer service.
You'll be a brand ambassador who’s ready to recommend our newest products. Through remarkable service you'll make sure our customers feel truly valued every time they shop with us.
Responsibilities:
- Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points
- Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring that our shelves are always stocked with product
- Monitor and deliver on the daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit to store.
- Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services
Requirements:
- High levels of customer service
- Committed to delivering excellent work with great attention to detail
- Open to and acts upon feedback, asking for this regularly
- Takes accountability for planning and managing own workload efficiently
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptable to changing situations

Working Hours: Week 1: Monday 13:00 - 18:00 Tuesday 12:30 - 18:00 Friday 13:00 - 18:00 Saturday 12:30 - 18:00
Week 2: Sunday 11:00 - 16:30 Wednesday 12:30 - 18:00 Thursday 13:00 - 18:00
Due to operational requirements, all successful candidates will be asked to work up to full time during the weeks commencing 14th and 21st December.
