Experienced Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer

We are seeking an Experienced Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer to join our team in Gdansk, Poland. The successful candidate will work on developing system requirements, performing design validations, and conducting root cause analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Develop system requirements to establish system design and manage requirements in DOORS.
• Perform design validations and verification activities, document and resolve technical issues during testing and integration.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, document, and manage system interfaces.
• Develop system design documentation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances.
• Research technical, operational, and quality issues that occur in service.
• Participate in product development of complex systems from conceptual phase to introduction of new products.
• Assess potential safety issues related to Autoflight systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Experience in System Engineering and technical disciplines related to Flight Control.
• Minimum 3 years of design experience with Autoflight systems.
• Upper-Intermediate English level in both written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of design experience with Autoflight systems.
• Ability to perform engineering analysis of Autoflight systems using knowledge of guidance, navigation, and control theory.
• Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink.
• Understanding of product safety.
