Description
The Boeing Company is seeking Flight Software Engineers (Associate/Experienced/Senior) to support the Flight Software Team located in El Segundo, CA or Mountain View, CA.
In this role, you will lead a team with design, implementation, and test of flight software with a focus on leadership, quality, earned value, and development of new capabilities for current and future satellite programs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, integrate, modify, test, and debug software integrated into embedded devices and systems
- Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements for software products
- Build and write code for embedded systems software
- Integrate embedded software with hardware components
- Analyze, monitor, and improve efficiency and stability of embedded software systems
- Test and debug software for embedded devices and systems
- Drive software execution to deliver products on-cost and on-schedule
- Lead tracking and evaluation of internal and supplier software team performance
- Produce design and test documentation and artifacts
- Conduct Cyber Vulnerability Analysis (CVA) for multiple processing platforms
- Design and implement cyber monitoring algorithms
- Design and write custom tools to support configuration automation and improve development workflow
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of experience designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems
- 2+ years of experience in software development using languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python
- Ability to obtain U.S. Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with full software development lifecycle
- Experience using team collaboration tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence
- Experience in embedded real-time software development
- Experience with Wireshark or other network analysis tools and debuggers
- Experience automating software builds, unit tests, and integration tests using a DevOps toolchain

Salary Range:
- Associate: $106,250 - $143,750
- Experienced: $135,150 - $182,850
- Senior: $171,700 - $232,200
