Description
Join the Silicon One team at Cisco in Caesarea, Israel, and spearhead innovative silicon architecture for AI infrastructure. You will guide board design from concept through to mass production, act as the technical decision-maker for the project, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Define product specifications and develop electrical schematics
- Guide component selection and collaborate with PCB Layout, SI/PI, Thermal, and Packaging engineers
- Conduct testing in a lab environment and drive the PCB bring-up, characterization, and debugging stages
- See the silicon chip throughout the full hardware development lifecycle
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience as a hardware/board design engineer
- Experience in high-speed, high-density, and multi-layer PCB design
- Experience designing complex boards incorporating ASICs, FPGAs, or high-performance processors
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of high-speed digital interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, and SerDes
- Good understanding of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) principles
- Experience in power architecture design, including voltage regulation, power distribution, and power sequencing
- Experience with lab equipment, board bring-up, hardware characterization, and systematic debugging
