Maintenance Manager

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee all routine maintenance, repair, and installation work completed on site, ensuring that it is carried out efficiently and within budget, and to supervise the Maintenance Operatives.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, be based in a hospital setting, working Monday - Friday (8am - 4pm) or (9am - 5pm).

Your main duties will include:

• Effectively managing the performance of external contractors providing hard and soft facilities management services
• Supporting the Hospital Manager with collation of information for statutory returns
• Preparing briefs, specifications of works, environmental reports, and local operational manuals
• Ensuring compliance with the Company's legal duties under various regulations
• Supporting the Hospital Manager as lead Emergency Planning Liaison Officer
• Managing the facilities function within agreed delegated budgets

You will need to be:

• Experienced in the management of facilities and services
• Willing to travel and hold a full valid driving license
• Able to communicate at all levels and record detailed, accurate maintenance information
• Experienced in the management of teams
