Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager

We are looking for an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to enable high performance of our supply chain facility by fostering a reliability-centered maintenance culture within the team.

The successful candidate will provide strong leadership to Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants, and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Software Technicians, and will cultivate a sense of urgency and quality focus.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering solutions for challenging problems
• Optimizing use of material handling equipment
• Managing external contractors
• Handling multiple projects and daily activities
• Meeting tough timelines
• Developing a continuous improvement ethic in the team
• Improving the reliability of the system through ownership in defect handling, breakdown elimination, and planning and scheduling
• Collaborating with other department leaders to accomplish engineering and maintenance departmental goals

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4-year degree in Engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience
• Previous supervisory experience in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to read, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures
• Ability to manage, lead, and influence others on a team while prioritizing multiple projects
• Experience with multi-contractor management
• Self-motivated and customer-centric
• Excellent PC competency
