Description
We are seeking a Manager Software Engineering to lead and develop an engineering team delivering production systems and high-volume applications using modern technologies such as Java, Springboot, and GEN AI.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the healthcare space or a related field, with at least 4+ years of team lead or engineering management experience.
Responsibilities:
- Empower, guide, and maximize a team of mission-driven engineers to solve challenging problems
- Collaborate with Engineering leadership and cross-functional partners to establish roadmaps and strategy
- Contribute to technical development and discussions as necessary
- Deliver results in a fast-paced environment while treating team members and colleagues with empathy and humanity
- Successfully partner and lead resources in solving complex business needs
- Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws
Requirements:
- Experience with technologies mainly focused on Java and Springboot background in addition to GEN AI exposure
- Background in the healthcare space or related field is an added advantage
- Advanced understanding of modern software development practices and methodologies
- Experience directly working on or managing teams working on production systems and high-volume applications
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders
- Strong skills in setting, communicating, implementing, and achieving business objectives and goals
