Description
Notion is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join their iOS team for Summer 2027. The internship will take place from May 24 - August 13 or June 14 - September 3, and you will need to work out of their NY office during this time.
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will help build the iOS platform that lets engineers ship confidently. You will own a focused project on the platform over the summer, working alongside engineers on the mobile platform, mobile AI, and core product teams. Your goal will be to ship a real project to production, making the iOS platform friendlier to engineers and agents, and learning how a production iOS platform works.
Responsibilities:
- Ship a real project to production: Working with your mentor, you’ll scope an iOS project from problem definition to a shipped result by the end of the summer.
- Make the iOS platform friendlier to engineers and agents: Help build and improve ways to build, run, test, and screenshot the app, so engineers and AI agents can iterate quickly without lowering the quality bar.
- Learn how a production iOS platform works: Get exposure to shared frameworks, build systems, release quality, and the shared Rust layer.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another related field. Must graduate before Summer 2028.
- Previous internship experience.
- Working towards proficiency of one or more programming languages such as Swift, Typescript, and React.
- You find large challenges exciting and enjoy discovering problems as much as solving them.
- You are able to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Skills:
- Thoughtful problem-solving
- Put users first
- Not ideological about technology
- Empathetic communication
- Team player
- AI enthusiast
