As a Driver Tanker at Ampol Petroleum Distribution, you'll join a team that delivers an essential service to communities and businesses across South West QLD. Every day, our drivers help keep service stations, mines, transport operators, agriculture, marine customers, and local businesses moving.

About the Role Based from our Toowoomba depot, you'll operate a MC fuel tanker delivering fuel products and onsite refuelling across South West QLD. This role operates on a rotating roster and suits someone who enjoys professional driving, working independently, and being part of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Operating a modern MC tanker safely and professionally
• Completing deliveries across South West QLD
• Conducting pre-start inspections and vehicle checks
• Managing delivery documentation and compliance requirements
• Building positive relationships with customers
• Maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism
• Working closely with a supportive operations team to ensure reliable service delivery

Qualifications and Experience Essential:

• Current MC Licence
• Proven heavy vehicle driving experience relating to MC or A-Double combinations
• Strong safety focus
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work a rotating roster
• Reliability and commitment to doing the job right

Highly regarded, but Not Essential:

• Fuel transport experience
• Tanker experience
• Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence
• Safe Loading Pass (SLP)
