Description
As the Senior Risk Tools & Automation Lead at Airbnb, you will own the end-to-end agent experience for risk and fraud operations, defining what investigators need, designing and conceptualizing the next generation of the risk workbench, and driving automation through process efficiencies and AI.
The Payments Risk Operations team protects Airbnb's guests, hosts, and the platform from fraud, financial loss, and abuse. You will join a team of operators, analysts, and program leaders who partner closely with Platform, Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Legal to keep the community safe.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the end-to-end agent experience across risk and fraud investigation workflows
- Defining the long-term vision for a unified risk workbench
- Identifying, sizing, and prioritizing automation opportunities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Platform, Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Legal
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in operations, program management, or product management
- 5+ years of experience in fraud, payment risk, trust and safety, or a related investigations industry
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Proven track record of writing successful business requirements and user stories
- Familiarity with user experience testing and design
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration
- Experience identifying and delivering automation or process efficiency improvements at scale
Preferred qualifications:
- Hands-on experience designing or launching agent workbenches or investigation consoles
- Experience applying generative AI or large language models in operational settings
- Working knowledge of fraud and risk domains
- Familiarity with workflow and automation platforms and agile delivery practices
The base pay range for this role is ₹3,780,000-₹5,400,000 INR.
