Description
TaskUs is seeking a Team Lead to oversee data collection operations. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for troubleshooting VRs and gloves, traveling to retrieve SD cards, inspecting data collection, and responding to client chats.
The Data Collection Operator role involves wearing and operating advanced wearable technology, performing scripted activities, and following technical guidelines to ensure accurate data collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware Operation: Wear and operate advanced wearable technology, including AR/VR headsets and motion capture hardware
- Active Capture: Perform scripted everyday activities and physical tasks to ensure accurate data collection
- Protocol Adherence: Follow precise technical guidelines, scenario scripts, and taxonomies
- Quality Control & Maintenance: Perform real-time checks on datasets for accuracy and assist with basic equipment maintenance
- Compliance: Follow strict site security protocols, including NDAs and policies regarding personal devices
Essential Qualifications:
- Tech & Physical Aptitude: Comfortable using computers and AR/VR devices, with the ability to stand, move, and wear equipment for up to 8 hours per shift
- Attention to Detail: A strong ability to follow precise instructions and maintain focus over repetitive task sequences
- Logistics & Flexibility: Reliable transportation is required to travel to various local facility sites
